Questions & Answers

Q. Can someone with celiac disease eat the chocolate??

A. Dark chocolate and pure cacao are allowed for celiac patients. As for the flax in the omega bars......

Flaxseed is gluten free. It is an excellent choice for the person with Celiac disease, as it is not only gluten-free, but is an excellent source of vitamins, protein, minerals, omega-3 fatty acids and dietary fiber.

Q. What about Lou Gerhigs disease....Or ALS as it is commonly known

A. Virtually every team of scientists investigating ALS worldwide agree that the final common pathway mediating the destruction of brain neurons in ALS focuses on the central role of free radicals. Unfortunately there is no strong evidence to suggest that taking antioxidants will reverse or slow down the neurodegenerative process......but really there is nothing to lose here....any type of hope is just that..... hope!! Some people believe antioxidants can in fact help prevent the disease from occuring. Alot of the studies on the potential beneficial effects of antioxidants on ALS are poorly designed and more are needed.
